Magnetic Therapy (EMTT)

A non-invasive treatment solution that has been specially developed for treating musculoskeletal pain.

What Is EMTT?

What is Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT®)?

Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT®) is a non-invasive treatment solution that has been specially developed for treating musculoskeletal pain.

As a patient, you will find EMTT® very comfortable: The therapy loop is positioned over the area of pain while you remain fully clothed – direct skin contact is not necessary. High-energy magnetic pulses are then transmitted to your body, where they take effect. A single treatment session lasts between 5 and 20 minutes, and between 6 and 8 sessions are required, depending on the severity of the condition and the response to the therapy.

Benefits of Magnetic Therapy

Benefits of Magnetic Therapy

Disorders of the musculoskeletal system are the most common cause of chronic pain around the world. These disorders include back pain and osteoarthritis as well as typical sports injuries such as inflammation of the tendons and joints. People who suffer from these conditions often experience significant limitations in their everyday life as well as reduced quality of life.

This is where magnetic therapy comes in. This treatment causes a reduction in pain by reducing inflammation in the body and relaxing the surrounding muscles. It is non-invasive and suitable for everyone except people who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, or metal implants that are not conducive to MRI scans.

You may be a good candidate for EMTT if you suffer from:

  • Degenerative joint diseases

  • Wear and tear conditions such as herniated discs, spondylarthrosis, lumbago, lumbar hernia, cervical scaphoid hernia,

  • Muscle pain - neck, shoulder, back, ankle, knee, foot, wrist, elbow and hand pain

  • Chronic inflammation of tendons and joints, tendon overuse syndromes, tendinitis, achilles tendon pain, iliotibial (IT) band syndrome

  • Contractures, strains, and tears

  • Bunions

  • Sciatic nerve pain, pinched nerve

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Algodystrophy
